Pain:

Pain is a mechanism our body uses to bring attention to a problem area in the body. Pain is individual and every person reacts and feels differently to pain. In one way, pain is an alert signal that something is wrong in the body. Continuous, constant pain saps strength and spirit and causes change in personality.

Pain is the method that the peripheral nervous system (PNS) uses to warn the central nervous system (CNS) that there may be an injury or potential injury in the body. The CNS is consisted of the brain and spinal cord, while the PNS is comprised of nerves that stem from and lead into the CNS. The PNS is made up of all the nerves in the body except the brain and spinal cord.

Pain helps in diagnosing problems going on in the body. Without pain, serious injuries can occur without you knowing it. You might not even realize you’re having a medical condition that needs treatment. Pain usually subsides after the problem is taken care of. However, pain can persist for days, weeks, months, or even years. This is known as chronic pain. Chronic pain can sometimes be caused by an ongoing condition, such as arthritis, or cancer. However, sometimes the cause of chronic pain is unknown.

Back Pain

The Human Back is one of the largest areas of the human body. It’s made up of multiple components such as nerves, muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons, and blood vessels all make up the back. The most important responsibility of the back is that it’s the human body’s region that house the spinal column and it serves as the spinal column’s protector. The back is considered the powerhouse of the human body. It supports other regions, and allows movement of the arms, legs, and head. The back is a complex region of the body. It is important to have a clear understanding the anatomy of the back and how it functions in order to help prevent injuries from occurring. This knowledge can also help to properly diagnose an injury if it were to occur.

Back pain can occur in the lower, middle, and upper back. There is also low back pain with sciatica. Arthritis, muscular problems, nerve problems, and degenerative disc disease can all lead to back pain. Symptoms of back pains might be relived with pain medication or pain killers.

Joints in the body are the connective material between the bones. They provide support in the body and also aids in bodily movements. Any damage to these joints from either diseases and/or injuries can interfere with bodily movements and cause various degrees of pain.

Many varieties of conditions can lead to painful joints. Conditions can include bursitis, gout, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, sprains, strains, and various other injuries. Joint pain is relatively common nationally. The most common joint pain is Knee pain, followed by shoulder and then hip pain. However, joint pain can occur in any part of the body.
